On tap at Sørlandet Matfestival. It's an unclear orange colored beer with a dense, white head. The aroma has some pale malts in the back, with a hoppy touch and a good dash of lemon. It's light on the palate, crisp, dry and nicely carbonated, with a gentle bitterness. Lemon driven flavor too, with a generic citrusy hoppyness and a light malty touch. Lasting finish. A refreshing beer indeed. A tad much on the lemony side for me, but it's sure a decent brew. 230707

On tap at Sørlandet Matfestival. A lightly hazy golden colored beer with a dense white head. Citrusy aroma with mango, vanilla and a spiced hint. It's full bodied, nicely carbonated and with a decent bitterness. Mango, vanilla, fruityness and some resin in the flavor. Some pale malts. Long finish. Refreshing indeed. A bit much vanilla. 230707

Festival sample, Sørlandets Matfestival 2023. Unclear golden body under a white head. Fresh aroma of quite standard pilsner, malt, grain, floral and slightly fruity. Taste has a soft, smooth malt base, some fruit and a floral touch, balanced bitterness and hint of herbs. Medium body and same aftertaste. Nice, smooth pilsner.

Especially with good company Cloudy yellow pour and a fine head Pleasant intensity in the aroma Moderate fine sweetness and a fine carbonation level Easy to drink A mild fine bitterness lifted it up from the normal hazy stuff Pale malt, mango, fruity and citric flavor [On tap at Patricks Pub in Kristiansand, Norway]

Weird one. Felt like a lager with some strange notes Hazed pale golden in the glass and a fine head Decent intensity in the aroma Moderate sweet and moderate bitter Malty, herbal and some “basement” notes in the flavor [Bottle at Naboen in Vennesla, Norway]

Tap @ Patricks. Clear, very pale golden body almost without any head. Weak aroma, light apple, rubber and sulphur. Light in taste as well, mild, generic apple, slightly acidic and unpleasant rubber taste. Medium to thin body and quite short in aftertaste. Not much complexity and too much off flavors.

Tap @ Patricks. Unclear pale yellow golden body under a lacing, ‘dirty’ white head. Nice refreshing aroma, mango, citric fruit, pale malt and a light touch of minerals. Taste is super refreshing, light, soft pale malt, citric fruit dominated by mango, still not in an exaggerated way, you may still taste the beer and there is a nice bitterness here as well. Medium to light bodied with a fresh fruity, bitter and slightly minerally aftertaste. Very refreshing indeed, perhaps the best beer from Homborund so far.

Bottle. It pours a clear golden colored body under a dense, finger-thick white head. The aroma has some DMS and a faint rubbery hint that makes it sort of unpleasant, but behind that there's a nice fruityness, some bready malts and a piney, grassy hint. Fortunately most of the unpleasant aromas soon disappear. It's medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, nicely carbonated and with a decent bitterness. Fruity, grassy and lightly piney flavor up front, with bready pale malts in the back. Some metallic notes kicking in, especially in the swallow, else the flavor feels cleaner than the aroma. Quite decent actually. Medium length finish with a cardboardy mouthfeel in the very end. Quite refreshing, but a bit unclean this one. 230404
