Bottled 330ml (Vinmonopolet, vintage 2018, BB 12/2019) Slightly hazy golden colour, small steady white head. Sweet pear soda aroma (Smurffi), Light-bodied. Sweetish, slightly fruity flavour with touch of citrus. Smooth, not very pils like but somehow tolerable.

Bottle @ Patricks. Dark brawn, almost black body with a fine beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, toast and dry fruit. Flavor is sweet malty, caramel, bread, dry fruit and toffee but quite rough on the roasted malt and less sweet and smooth as expected from a quad. Quite nice but it feels a lot like an imperial stout as well, or at least like something in between. The alcohol is nicely softened and the bitterness is well masked but there seem to be something with the roasted malt and a bit sharp edged brown sugar flavor here. Some time in the cellar might do the trick but right now it feels a unfinished and messy.
