Hazed golden color with a white head. Some lacing. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an ok carbonation. Decent balance between sweetness and bitterness. Mild fruity, pine, malty and citric hoppy. Decent tasty ale.

Many thanks to Yngwie for a 330ml bottle of this one. Hazy copper coloured body. Fair beige lacing head. Brown malty nose, hints of nuts and herbal hops. Dark malty flavours, moments of earth, chocolate and nuts. Slightly roasted malty ending. Quite fine bodied for the low abv. Fits the style well (Tasting session with Finn and djoeye, Tromsø 07.09.2016).

Bottle. A more or less clear one, brown in color and with a dense, finger-thick beige head. The aroma has caramel, roasted malts, some anise seeds, some prunes and blue plums and a sourish burnt malts touch. It’s smooth and rather dry on the palate, with a decent carbonation, medium bodied. Roasted malts, some bonfire hints, dark chocolate, hints of prunes and anise seeds as well as some sourish burnt malts hints in the flavor. Decent hoppy bitterness and also some resiny hop notes. Long finish with more chocolate than initially. A decent one, but there’s too many good porters on the market so I don’t see myself repeating this one. 160423
