500 ml bottle. Almost clear, dark brown, almost black body with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of dark, medium roasted malt, some coffee and dry fruit. Flavor is rather refreshing, medium roasted, smooth dark malt, hint of coffee and some chocolate, slightly fruity, moderate bitter and a bit ashy. Medium bodyl, but feels balanced and average aftertaste. A rather mild and easy porter closer to the British tradition. Should not offend anyone but still more taste than a Guinness. Pretty nice session Porter.

Bottle. A hazy, orange colored beer with a small, beige head leaving lacings. The aroma is mostly on the piney, citrusy side, with some malts and a yeasty touch in the back. It’s medium to full-bodied, pleasantly carbonated and semi-dry. Pine cones, orange and grapefruit and a nice bitterness in the flavor. Some biscuity malts and a hint of yeast. Hop dominated finish. Sure not a bad one, but a tad too yeasty and in my opinion, sort of like glorified homebrew. 160327

Bottle. It’s a hazy one, brown in color and with a small, dense, beige head. Lightly maltysour aroma with coffee, nuts and toffee. Some fruityness too. Some chocolate. It’s medium bodied and soft on the palate, perhaps a bit watery. Wouldn’t mind some more carbonation too. Coffee grit, nuts, toffee and some chocolate in the flavor, followed by a gentle bitterness. Medium length finish with roasted malts and toffee. Well, it’s a decent one, but not the kind of beer I’ll buy again. 160327

330 ml bottle. Amber to brown body with a nice off-white head. Mild aroma of light roasted malt, some caramel and hint of coffee. Flavor is medium sweet, smooth dark roasted malt, some caramel, coffee, toast and hint of dry fruit. Moderate bitterness. A bit thin bodied and short in aftertaste with toffee. Not very typical brown ale, somewhere between brown ale, amber and British porter. Otherwise quite smooth and easy drinkable, not very exiting but nice with food or as a tasty thirst quencher.
