0,33 flaske fra VP Madla Amfi, delt med eiendomsmagnaten: nesten helt klar gylden med fint skum som varer. Fin aroma og smak av furunål/barskog/eukalyptus sammen med appelsinkjeks. Oppkvikkende, men hvorfor lage en amerikansk (og ikke engelsk) pale ale for et engelsk fotballag?

330 ml bottle, batch #191, from Heinemann Taxfree, Stavanger Airport Sola. ABV is 6%. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Very yeasty aroma, also notes of malts, grain and stale marmalade. The flavour is also yeasty, but not quite as bad as the aroma. Some citrus, very moderate bitterness. Why on earth did Heinemann stock this mediocre beer, when there are so many other and better Norwegian IPAs on the market, from better breweries?

330ml bottle, #199B, bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord. Misty orange coloured body, dissipating white head, clingy lacing. Moderate aromas of pale malts and herbal hops. Tastes quite alright with impacts of canned fruits, almond, and bread-like malts. Drying finish, ripe fruity with mild bitterness. Medium bodied. Fair enough. (Bodø Panorama 14.08.2021).

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt and cooked vegetables. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with a long grainy and cooked vegetables finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
