330 ml bottle, batch #191, from Vinmonopolet Jørpeland. ABV is 6.0%. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma of over-ripe fruits and berries, a hint of solvent. Dull flavour with very moderate earthy hops, unfresh notes of decaying fruits. Not much to brag about - if I were a Liverpool supporter, I would be embarassed by this "tribute" beer.

Bottle. It's an almost clear one, golden in color, with a nice white head. Some lacing. The aroma has pine cones, resin, licorice-ish hints, a touch of DMS and a good dash of grass. Some pale malts in the back, with a hint of caramel malts. It's medium bodied, softly carbonated and quite dry on the palate, with a good bitterness. Resin, pine cones, grass, pale malts and some DMS and caramel notes in the flavor. Nothing special going on here, and a bit heavy on the DMS. 210523

Bottle. Almost clear in the glass, golden color, with a small white head. The aroma has a good dash of pine cones, with DMS, pale malts and a touch of resin. It's medium to full-bodied, semi-dry, with a pleasant carbonation. Pine cones, grapefruit, grass notes and a bready maltyness in the flavor. Medium length finish. A classic IPA, unfortunately not all clean. 210523

Bottle. A nice finger-thick off-white head forms some lacing over a hazy orange-colored body. The aroma is mostly citrusy, grapefruit that is, with resin and pine cone notes, some orange and toffee-ish malts. It's medium to full-bodied, with a rather soft carbonation. The flavor is more on the orange side, orange marmalade perhaps, with some notes of grapefruit. Some grass and flower hints, with a touch of pale malts in the back. Orangey finish. Nothing special going on here, but at least it's a clean one, and I like the old school hops. 210516

Bottle from Gulating. Almost clear golden body under a fine white head. Pretty weak aroma with pale malt, hint of bread and some generic, mature fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet pale malt, mild fruit, hint of grassy/pine bitterness. Medium to thin bodied and a bit short aftertaste. Nothing wrong, easy drinkable but not much going on here. Wonder why using the anniversary jubilee for such an average beer?

Bottle. More or less clear in the glass, orange colored, with a nice off-white head. Some curtains. The aroma is piney and fruity, faintly resiny, with some herbal notes, grass, some cooked vegetables and a faint touch of pale malts. It's medium bodied and softly carbonated, with a soft bitterness. The flavor has pale malts in the back, with a bit too much cooked vegetables. Grass, pine cone notes, and generic fruityness, leading to a fruity finish. Not a very succesful anniversary beer. 210502
