37.5cl bottle from a trade with bierkoning, thanks! A slightly hazy golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of pale malt, yeast, some brett. Taste of yeasty pale malt, brett, yeast. Easy to drink, not complex.

0.33 l bottle from 'Beerdome', best before September 2022. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, stable, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, quite roasty, gently smoky, a little fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, bacon, dark ripe fruits, leather and some oak. Quite sweet, malty, fairly roasty, a little smoky, gently fruity aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, hard roasted coffee, ash, some dark ripe fruits, light oak and a touch of bacon, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, quite earthy, slightly woody, gently oxidized finish. Full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Perfectly balanced, intense and sophisticated RIS, the PX barrels add lovely subtleties to the rich and heavy base beer. Definitely among my favourite Zwarte Snorre variants, superb beer.

Geprobeerd met Roelzie bij de stadsbrouwerij. Het is een zwart bier met een bruinig schuim. Het heeft een grande houtige en whisky achtige geur. De smaak is vol, gebrand, koffie, hout, bourbon en rokerig.

Bottle shared thanks 🙏 to Maakun. Cool to try the base after so many BA renditions. Bitter, tar, dry. Light sweet coffee roast, inky. I love the bitter blackness. Tasty.

Bottle shared. Black with light brown head. Marzipan, lots of blackberries, vanilla, coffee, licorice, a touch of smoke, lots of fresh fruits. Over medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied. Quite nice.

Thuis uit een flesje. Zwart, beige schuim. Zacht aroma, weinig uitgesproken, maar aangenaam. Lichte koffiegeur. Smaak licht bitter, ook zacht, romig en vol. Ook hier geen heel uitgesproken smaken die de overhand hebben, maar daardoor juist heel goed. Nasmaak warm, vol, licht bitter en kan er iets van de cognac warmte uit halen. Uitstekend bier!

33cl bottle. A very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, bitter hops, pine. Taste of roasted dark malt, liquorice, citrus, tobacco. Long roasted bitter finish.

Dunkler malziger Beginn, Hopfenaromen sind vorhanden, bleiben aber zum Großteil im Hintergrund. Würzig, erstaunlich süffig, langer Nachhall. Gut! 10/11/11/11/8/11
