Pint on tap at brewery. Zero Aroma, oh, wait a minute! I think I can smell a fig around the corner. Ephemeral at best. Copper coloured beer with small frothy head. Medium carbonation, fizzy mouthfeel. I recognise the amber ale part of this, no idea about the cream ale bit or the pudding. Tastes like a fig amber ale, nothing wrong with that but a bit of a letdown after the gingerbread brown ale.

On tap at brewery. Very dark beer with a foamy head of crema. Glass is freezing so this way too cold. But we are in Brisbane in January so....
Nice dark chocolate nose, touch of cocoa. Nice and sweet, raisins and tobacco. Finish is more dark chocolate. Easy drinking, smooth. Only downside is the head didn't last. Otherwise excellent.

Czech Style Pilsner from Sea Legs Brewing

Schooner on tap at brewery. Pale amber beer with a foamy white head. High fine carbonation. Grainy nose. Bitter fruit, grain, refreshing. Lingering dry finish, some distant fruit. Very drinkable Pils, quite sweet for the style.

Pot on tap at brewery. Bronze coloured beer with small frothy head. High fine carbonation. Smells like Teh Halia. Strong ginger and syrup. Wow! Tastes like pancakes. Odd personal reference, but it's Changi food centre meets Pancake Manor. Nice lacing, touches of maple, clove, dough. Finish is tannic. Magnificent!

Pint on tap at brewery. Golden amber beer with a thin white head. High fine carbonation. Nice malty nose. Clean, crisp, easy drinking. Straightforward Oktoberfest beer, little bit of fruit, pepper and spice in the finish. Nice and drinkable.

Pours gold, small head.Nose shows strong jalapeno and roasted pineapple by the truckload. Soft lemon also.Flavours include more pineapple, soft acidity, jalapeno flavour without the heat.

Can. Black with a good inch of light tan head that doesn’t last Aroma of coffee, oats, gentle roast. Silky with few bubbles. Roast more prominent than lactose, so it’s rich but not that sweet with a fairly bitter finish. Good stuff.

Bit of a strange one. A very dank aroma of pine, coriander, orange peel and even a little cocoa. Similar flavours in the mouth with an oily mouthfeel. The flavours just don't quite work together.

Schooner on tap at Brewery. Obsidian Black, no light escapes. Light coffee, cocoa, coconut(?) aroma. Thin head that dissipates. Medium body, smoky flavour. Dry bitter finish, standard issue stout. Good, nor great.
