Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2015. Pours a near clear light yellow with a bubbly white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a decent amount of earthy wheat with a bit of a vomit note and plum. Flavor has notes of sweet wheat with some salt and a bit of plum.

Clear amber copper color. Lacing. Slightly astringent malt on the nose. Some dust strong malt. Indistinct strong hops. Flavor is lots of no distinct hops and slightly astringent etoh. Butter finish. Its a mod version of what id dont like in bareleywine and could oroba ly get better from aging or oxidzing.

I continue my 23rd st dominance with this. Well done cold coffee chocolate covered bean beer. I’m not a fan of coffee beers but the coffee is well mixed with chocolatey malt flavors. Mild acidity, dry roast coffee finish. Real nice.

Chris added a beer, wow. Looks like things are looking up since the brewer change. This IPA is pretty stellar. Fruity and citrus hop nose with a little thick biscuit malt. Don’t get rye character. Flavor is bitter heavy but not too much to turn me off. More fresh citrus hops and a bitter end. Cloudy muddled golden color, mild lacing. Needs to be prettier.

Shaker at the brewpub. Pours with a thick foamy milky shake like head. Super chunky thick no clarity brown body. Milky lacing covers the glass as the beer s consumed. Mild-moderate aroma strength, mild esters, some wet raisin bread. Flavor is grainy plum. A bit messy not too clean. Good BdG but a bit messy, needs to be cleaner version.
