4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of rye, light soap, floral notes. Tastes of big rye, citrus, floral notes, pine, resin. Medium body with a dry finish. Lots of nice rye flavor.

4 oz pour on draft at Meridian Pint. Hazy yellow with off-white head. Aromas of lemon lime citrus, light floral. Tastes of lemon lime citrus, light floral, balanced tartness. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Good but fairly straight forward.

Really not much going on here. Light hint of salt and caramel, some caramelized malt. Kind of a waste of a beer that was much better to start with. Low carbonation on cask - maybe this is past its prime. Cask at Pizzeria Paradiso Dupont.

12 oz can at home from my Secret Santa, big thanks. no obvious BB date. almost black color, quite big coffee-colored head. smells earthy, licorice, some roast, lightly puke-ish, spices, OKish smell if it wasnt for the off-notes. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes quite sour, green apples, light roast, spices, licorice, earthy, lightly funky. finishes lightly sour with some unpleasant spices and some licorice. Beer gets rather unpleasant when warmer. This seems to have some issues (sourness), still some what drinkable at first, but gets unpleasant when warm.

Draft at the source. Clear golden yellow color, white head with good retention and lacing, see pic. Earthy straw aroma. Taste is earthy light cocoa, unexpected given the appearance. Coffee is very subtle in this version, coming in only at the finish. Decent.

Draft at the source. Clearish yellowish goldish color, thin white edge head. Aroma of burning straw. Taste is slowly smoldering hay. Not overwhelming, not meaty. Easy drinking for a rauchbier.

Total Wine, McLean can: pours copper with an off white head. Aroma is toffee, toast, some flowers. Taste is toasty and tasty. Nothing too exciting but a good session style beer.
