Sample at GABF 10/10/2025, thanks to Beer Savant for assistance with note-taking. Clear golden pour with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Piney hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of piney hop, tropical fruit and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a dry piney hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Cask at Max's, with Sorachi Ace. Pours a hazy-ish, amber color, with a frothy, bubbly, off-white head. The nose is green banana, rose, coriander, and pine sap. Sweet and sugary, with a mild, resinous bitterness. Light, slick, and thin. Good aromatics, but weak and thin.

A cask version on tap at the ChurckKey in DC. It is hard to believe this is a 9.8% BW - a thin, slightly metallic taste with some sweetness and roasted malt. The body is thin as well. I know cask versions are often not as punchy as their keg brothers, but this is a big disappointment.

Refrigerated 12 oz can poured into a glass. Hazy golden with big white head. Aroma is wheat esters, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is wheat esters, bubble gum, and a little clove.
