Bottle from Spar petrol station in Dover. Clear pale pale green gold colour lasting white head. Not overly sweet but sugar is there no doubt. Not awful. Some pear flesh flavour a little apple maybe It’s sweetish fizzy pear infused water a million miles from what a perry should be but does have some pear flavour.

Bottle from SPAR Piccadilly, Manchester. Extremely pale green cider. The pear is decent enough in its nose, slightly soured in its taste with a dryness, but fair.

500ml bottle from SPAR at Blue Dolphin caravan park near Filey. Golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and sulphury apple aroma. Taste is tangy apple with sweetener and hints of straw & sulphur. Medium bodied, softish carbonation, some residual sweetness in the dry finish. OK.

Bottle from Spar, Manchester. Golden with a fizzed head that never quite disappears. Its initial sweetness is replaced by a dryness. It’s always crisp tasting, but with a less than full apple flavour.
