Pour is a very clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is a lager non-existant. Flavor is not totaly crap. A very sweet grain and hop. Nothing to blow you away mind you but still decent for a eastern euro lager and the price is decent as well at only a bit over a dollar for a 500ml.

Re-rate, 2-24-16, from .5 l can. The usual clear yellow pale lager, sudsy head. Nudging the smell up one since it’s really not bad, just the usual "beer" smell. Taste still has a bit fusel alcohol to it. Some bitterness that seems more like dead yeast, in spite of looking filtered or pasteurized. Still your basic cheap Baltic beer. Original rating, May 20, 2006: Taster at Binny’s, Orland Park. So the post Soviet beer invasion continues. First thing I noticed here was an odd cracker smell. Reuglar lager color and head after that. Taste? Kind of grainy and corny. Just ordinary imported dollar bottle of beer. 3-3-4-2-8

Taster at Binny’s, Orland Park. I actually thought this was pretty good. Clean, light malty smell, decent color. And a crisp taste with no real off character. Just a clean, refreshing lager.

An orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of corn, the flavor is also sweet malty, but again combined with notes of corn, that also gives the beer traces of sourness. I don’t like corn in my beer.

330ml bottle. Pale yellow with plenty of white foamy head. Light grainy aroma. Thin mouthful and lightly malted. Short end. Very average for its style. Alright as a partner to freshly cooked asparagus.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours pilsener golden with a small, white head. Malty, lightly caramelish nose. Medium-bodied, some pilsener malt, some metal and a bitter, hoppy finish. 300406

Half-liter bottle from Sam’s Wines, Downers Grove. Yes, another loose bottle for a buck, another odd east European brand. It does have a nice German wheat beer smell too, but it pours a less than appealing murky brown in a yellow body. Nice crisp weizen head, though. Taste takes a little time to get established. I finally get a mostly citrusy beer (I didn’t put a slice of anything on it), Then some slight hefe style banana note. I guess I’m ranking this pretty average. It’s pretty nice and drinkable, just not a very appealing presentation.

Bottled brought back from Vilnius. Golden coloured, white frothy head, clean refreshing taste, a bit on the sweet side though some bitterness detected. Fine but nothing special.

Bottled. Brought back from Vilnius. Very bright yellow coloured, not much of an aroma, not a lot of taste, looks like I am running slightly against the grain with my views but both me and my dad who shared this were distinctly unimpressed.

Bottle. Vilnius Lithuania. A most refreshing beer that pours very cloudy and tastes both citrusy and spicy, with an aroma of yeast and wheat. Very good.
