.33 can from Vinmonopolet Langnes whilst enjoying the NHL Playoffs in Kroken. Pours a somewhat cloudy deep orange body with a very small crisp white head that leaves little or no acing. Nicely balanced hoppy aroma of tropical fruits more sweet (think peaches and pineapples) than bitter or citrusy. A surprise to be sure (perhaps), but a welcome one. The flavour initially seems to match the aroma, but then gives way to more bitterness which dominates the dryish aftertaste. Solid stuff, but not as refreshing or eminently drinkable as the more smooth and juicy top-class NEIPAs. A more than decent effort on part of ELØ, but still leaves this reviewer wanting more.

Can. A dark brown beer, headless, still and unclear. Roasted malts, coffee and some dark chocolate in the aroma. It's medium bodied, super-velvety and very low on carbonation. Roasted malts, dark chocolate and some coffee. Dark dried fruit hints. Lactose-ish finish. Uninteresting and not very pleasant. 230422

Can 330ml @ gunnfryd
Pours hazy reddish brown with a few off-white bubbles. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, licorice and hint of vanilla. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long roasted, chocolate, coffee and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Steady pearl white head leaving rings of lace down the glass, cloudy orange coloured body. Floral fruity aromas with a tropical touch, promising. Mid-sweet fruity taste with pineapple and orange, added by juicy malts, lactose beneath, not overdone. Smooth citrus fruity end. Fine depth. Quite alright.

330 ml can, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Golden colour, slightly hazy, moderate to low white head. Sweetish aroma of pilsener malts and newmown grass, hints of flowers, honey and herbs. Crisp and refreshing flavour, still with some malty sweetness, moderate herbal hops in the finish.
