6th DRG. Milky, creamy, some malt, vanilla. A lot of roasted malt, extreme and harsh bitterness. Too harsh palate for me. Dominant hoppy.

Bottle. Malty aroma, a little creamy. Slightly hazy brown colour. No head. Malty flavour, but in a strange way. 6 3 5 3 13
Bottle, 5.0%. Sweetish aroma, a bit like fruit candy. Almost clear dark brown colour. Good stable tan head. The flavour is sweetish/malty with a little roasted note in the finish. Rather subtle, but the malt and the roasted note. Quite clean, though. 6 3 6 3 13

A hazy red beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is very sweet and yeasty, but also with notes of licorice, malt, and straw. The flavor is slightly sour with notes of straw, oranges, and caramel, giving way to a dry hoppy end.

Draught @HBF2005
A bit hazy golden, small white head. Sweetish, light diacetyl aroma. Sweetish and liquerish palate. Hides alcohol quite well but could have more body, now quite watery.

Dark brown, almost opaque, small brownish head. Grassy, butterscotch - lots of diacetyl in the aroma. Watery, slightly roasted, grassy with more butterscotch in the flavor. This keg was totally useless.

Bottled (BB 06/2005)
100th German beer rated.
Copper brown color, steady creamy tanned head. Barley nose. Yeasty and malty. Maybe not fully fermented yet. More märzen like dunkel palate.
