Bottle picked up at Morrisons Inverurie. It pours clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is dusty, biscuit, doughy bread, touch of sweetness, earth and cereal. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, earthy, toothy, biscuit, bread, grassy, spicy hops and a toy H of alcohol with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. A bit toothy. Fair.

Cask hand pull at the Blue Blazer. It pours clear yellow with a medium sturdy white head. The aroma is toasty grain, hay, cereal and a bit of lemonade. The taste is dry, toasty grain, light bitterness, candied lemon, lemonade, slightly soapy and biscuit. Light+ body and fine carbonation. Nice condition. A fairly run of the mill golden ale, but drinkable nonetheless.

Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - golden with steady carbonation. Big fluffy white head. Nose - coriander and cardamom for sure. Orange at the back. Not sure I get the liquorice. Taste - more orange with coriander in particular. Palate - light bodied, creamy and fairly dry on the finish. Overall - decent.
