Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks Cris. 2014 bottle, 14%. Bottle #2246 out of 3483. Nice clear red-amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, wood, some vanilla, a bit of cookies, and some dark fruits notes. Sweet flavor with thick chewy maltiness, caramel, wood, some nuts, a bit of fruitiness, cookies, and an alcohol note. Full-bodied, rounded mouthfeel. Alcohol is well-concealed for 14%. A very good sipper.

500ml bottle from tres bonne boise. pours out a brown topped with a small head. nose is sweet caramel malt some old notes. Taste is more of the heavy malts sweetness and a light bitterness.

bottle from Hopology, Nottingham. Cloudy Deep amber brown colour with a thin white head. Aroma nutty and toffee. Taste toffee sweet, with a light sweet fruity finish.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines and drunk at home. Clear dark brown colour lasting beige head. Some dark fruits some malt loaf style malt. Very drinkable in the mouth. Lovely dark fruits flavours. A bit like a black forest gateau all to my self. Lovely.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines and drunk at home. Gold, slight haze, lasting thick white head. Decent lager aroma. Some good lemon on the aroma. Actually this is rather likeable. Some decent pale malts. Yes a lemony, nicely carbonated beer. I liked it.

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top @ home. [ As Faust Bayrisch Hell ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, grain, pale malt, fruity malt, light to light moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, pale malt, fruity malt, sweet malt, light grassy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160130]
