Bottle from the source. Brilliantly clear deep golden color with a smattering of bubbles when first poured. Apple light vanilla and spicy ginger with notes of floral honey. Thankfully the ginger is subtle, pretty tasty mead.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a slight red hue and no head whatsoever. Aroma combines dry honey, slightly tart red currant and a bit of booze underlying. Flavor has lots of red currant with some dry honey and a hint of tartness in the finish.

A golden mead with aroma of sweet clover honey, resinous character, pungent. In mouth, a nice sweet honey with light chalky character, maple syrup, alcohol warmth, very nice. Bottle at Cajun Café spring beer fest 2016.
