About
Our founder Oli Lemke welded his first own brewing plant in a friend’s garage in 1998. Infected by Oli’s euphoria, his friends turned into builders and helped to transform a derelict S-Bahn unit at the Hakescher Markt into a brewery. On the 21st November 1999 his dream became reality: The Brauhaus Lemke opened for the very first time.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Fine malty sourish aroma. Starts fine sourish-fruity, notes of lemon, some grapefruit. Light salty touch. Finish well balanced, less sour. Still fine dry-malty, quite drinkable. Nice!

Bottle at Lemke am Hof. Amber color with thick white head. Aroma of citrus hops, mostly with zest. Taste, solid malty base followed by very nice zesty, piney hoppy bitterness. Long hoppy bitter finish. Nice.

Tap at Lemke am Hof. Amber color with thick white head. Caramel, light roasty notes in aroma. Taste is very similar, amber coffee is more pronounced. Good.

Tap at Lemke am Hof. Deep golden color with thick hite head. Light citrus hoppy aroma with oranges, tangerines,, zest. Taste, solid malty base followed by oranges, tangerines, zest, pines. Nice medium long fruity hoppy finish.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is wheat, dough, gooseberries, nice funk! Taste is gooseberries, wheat, yoghurt, tart finish. Oily mouthfeel with foamy carbonation. I like!

Bottle. Very little head on a hazy yellowish-straw beer. Sour grapefruit cotton candy nose (!?! if such a combination is possible). Crazy fruity flavor that reminds me of lychee gummy bears, there's plenty of vanilla well. Tasty un beery beer.
