Bottle. Dark golden beer with a light head for the style. The aroma is bubble gum fruity and the flavour is strawberry, weakly bitter and slightly vinous. Overall a basic belgian style beer that seems to be a mixture of a belgian ale and a wheat beer.

66/75 cL bottle. Pours brown/orange with a short lasting off-white head leaving a nice rim. Aroma is yeasty and alcohol. Yeast is both Carlsbergensis and something else. Taste is rather caramelly/malty and yeasty, some fruit notes too. Weak belgian - but a good beer afterall.

330ml bottle at The Salt restaurant in Copenhagen. Clear golden body under a thin layer of white foam. The aroma is spicy and malty. Some hops and coriander in flavour, but the main character is on harsh caramel. A yeasty touch in the ending. Fizzy and a bit too sweet. Hidden alcohol (14.01.2007).

[Bottle] Amber colour, medium head. Sweet nose with liquorice, toffee and nutmeg. Hints of liquorice and dry nutmeg gets washed away by a flood of sticky sweetness.

I have had lots of good dunkels, and this is not one of them. Lightly sweet malt. Light brown color. It could use some more body and flavor besides sweet malt. Like their blonde, very expensive and offers little.

I got a lot of wheat out of this beer, it is like a light kiristalweizen. Light overall. I would have liked more of a pils, but whatever this is, it isn’t Belgian. Light yellow color and considerable carbonation. Very expensive for what it is.

75 cL bottle (1 year after BBD). Pours unclear yellow with white head. Aroma of hops, corn and coriander. Taste has first slight element of apples and then coriander followed by orange and apples again. Cloves turn up in the aftertaste. Overall a light and very little bitter beer with some sweetness. Not bad not fantastic either.
