Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 2007. Quite malty, nice British hops. Decent bitter, some biscuit. Standard bitter. 3/5 Re-rate Cask handpull at Market Porter, London. A very brown best bitter, with dry malt tones, the kinda best bitter that’s hard to find these days due to the propensity for UK breweries to produce Brewers Gold/Hophead/JHB clones. Some dry mlat/golden syrup/malt loaf, but not heavy either. A best bitter.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A pale orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of hops and flowers. The flavor has notes of honey and pollen, leading to a dry bitter end. The body is thin.

Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2007. Last beer of the festival for me. Named after the fiasco of people scavenging loot as it rolled in from a stranded ship. Ruby colour with thin beige head. Some decent raisiny fruit. Some powdery dry malt. Decent strong ale and warming.

Cask handpump at the Masons Arms, Branscombe, Devon 16-11-06. Golden quite clean and crisp tasting reasonable hoppy beer, quite suprised that this was still on in the depths of autumn, but it was and I quite liked it.
