Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 7th June 2025. Almost impenetrably black with tan foam and spot lacing. Roasty malts aroma. Smoky roastiness in-mouth and a roasty finish. Zingy mouthfeel, though simultaneously watery. Light body.

On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard. Nose is mango, sweet citrus, pineapple. Taste is apricot, mango, tangerine, grapefruit. Juicy fruit laden aftertaste. Very flavoursome westy.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 23rd May 2025. Dark reddish brown with yellowy white foam affording scant lacing. Malty aroma. Malty again in-mouth with the odd leafy hop. A finish of sweet berry fruits and a few mild peppery spices. Smooth mouthfeel and a light body.

Can at Dad's. Not sure about this one. Lactose and fruitiness on the nose. Light haze. Strong grapefruit and orange on the taste but with a noticeable licorice ending. Felt very thin.

Аромат хороший, в стиль Шварцбира, немного томных ноток жареного солода, но без особой горячи, есть намеки на шоколад, но не темный и не горький. Цвет черный, пенка небольшая. Вкус хороший и сбалансированный. Много солода жареного прежде всего, от этого есть намеки как будто на что то между какао и кофе зернами. Послевкусие лишь с намеком на горчинку. В целом просто хорошо.

Аромат немного цитрусовый от хмеля, есть намеки на саму пшеничку, прямо ощущается зерно, намеки на бананы, немного их не хватает. Цвет в меру мутный, пенки мало если честно. Вкус тоже неплохой, много хмеля, легкие специи, намеки на бананы при глотке. На финише снова много зерна пшеничного, прямо каша с бананами, но не ярко я бы сказал. В целом неплохо.

Can from Beer52. Clear gold, thin white top which quickly fades. Quite a sweet, earthy and floral aroma amongst the grainy malt. Nice crispness to this one with good noble hop level and modest but long bitterness. Doesn't look like much but actually is a good Pils.

Can from lowcostbeer, consumed 2 months past BBE. Pours a cloudy straw colour with big white head. Aroma and taste of grapefruit and grassy-floral hops with a touch of pine. Frothy carbonation, light body, slightly dry. Its quite nice.
