(500 ml can). Typical pale golden pilsener colour, good thick head, nice lacing. There is nothing offensive in aroma or flavour - just too little of everything. "Clean" taste as far as there is any flavour at all - with a little more hops, this could have been a reasonably good lager.

(Bottle). Pitch black porter, even held against the light. Tan head. Complex aroma of coffee, cocoa, dried fruits, ensilage(!) and oak. The full and rich flavour has coffee, bitter chocolate and loads of roasted maltiness. Not too sweet, just the right bitterness in the aftertaste. This must be a world class porter!

Canned. What a find in my local grocery store. Such creativity. Produce a beer in one country, ship it to the next, and add enough water to dilute it to the upper limit for alcohol sold in ordinary stores (yes, our bureaucracy sucks!) Anyway, the beer pours golden and the head is gone way before the compost heap aroma hits you. It is sweet, watery unclean and very grainy. I believe Sinebrychoff forgot to add the hops before they shipped it.

Black with huge rocky dense head.Malt nose. Good roasted flavor. In some circles it is actually considered an imperial stout

Not quite as good as Fuller's but this Porter is no slouch. Pours a nice oily black with a pretty milk-chocolate brown head. Aroma of espresso and chocolate. Very robust flavor with a slightly sharp aftertaste, but overall the finish is warm and smooth. Very good!

Very dark brown, almost black. Smooth roasted, somewhat smoky aroma with hints of liquorice. Light body with roasty coffee-flavour. A nice stout-ish Schwarzbier.

Very dark brown. Coffee aroma. Rather light bodied, velvetty mouth feel, medium bitterness. Well balanced, but not overly complex. Surprisingly good for being a Koff.

Very black. Big clove aroma. Thick mouthfeel. Richly malty, hints of licorice, but all overpowered by a massive spicyness. The finish is all cloves.
