Description
Anders Kissmeyer takes the concept of craft brewing very seriously, but at the same time he is also a curious and creative brewer who takes pride in driving the craft towards new heights and in new directions. Rooted in these passions, we will present new takes on well known beer types, along with brand new unique directions and styles.
Anders Kissmeyer is a much larger name in the rest of the world than he is in his own country. This will be reflected in a number of collaboration brews. Beers he brews in collaboration with his large network of friends among the best international brewmasters. To fully unfold our ambitions, we have chosen to present all of the KISSMEYER beers in a number of distinct portfolios, each with a conceptual idea of it’s own.

'Kissmeyer Beer and Brewing’ is my company, launched in 2010 after I ended my 10 year carreer with Nørrebro Bryghus. Longue description The company spans over three main areas of business - ’Kissmeyer Beer’ is my beer brand offering my own and collaborative beers at home and abroad. ’Kissmeyer Brewing’ is my consultancy business offering services related mainly to the brewing industry. Finally, under the collective name ’Kissmeyer Beer & Brewing’ I offer a wide range of communication services incl. beer tastings and presentations

Bottle, 5.5%. Good caramelly hop aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Small unstable white head. The flavour has a decent caramel hoppiness with a rough breadiness. Medium bitterness, not astringent, but also not entirely clean.

can hazy yellow, smooth white head. quite mild aroma, sligthly malty, sligthly hoppy but very mild. flavor is mild, slightly bitter hoppy, mouthfeel and base is not watery, the various hoppy and fruity flavors are well blended. Really really nice flavor for a 5.5 pct. beer. very good balance.

nice looking artistic 50cl can. clear yellow, large smooth white head. Really nice crisp citrussy hoppy aroma. dry malts and lots of hops. flavor is fruit juice, hop bitterness, not much malts, fruit peel bitterness, wird flowery bitter plant like note, too much going on for me, and not well blended, i could call it a bit messy. Faint notes of egg or cabbage. okay flavor, but moving dangerously close to bittersweet even though it basically is quite dry / crisp. A beer with a fantastic fresh hoppy aroma, but with so many flavors at once that you get confused. tastes like somebody threw a honey marinated flower bush into the beer.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Shared with Finn. Hazy amber coloured body under a patchy surface. Dotted spots on the glassware. Promising smell of citrus and leafy hops. Malt-fruity flavours, impacts of grapefruit and biscuit. Hints of resinous bitterness towards the ending. Pretty nice. (Bergstua, Malangen 28.10.2020).
