Description
Anders Kissmeyer takes the concept of craft brewing very seriously, but at the same time he is also a curious and creative brewer who takes pride in driving the craft towards new heights and in new directions. Rooted in these passions, we will present new takes on well known beer types, along with brand new unique directions and styles.
Anders Kissmeyer is a much larger name in the rest of the world than he is in his own country. This will be reflected in a number of collaboration brews. Beers he brews in collaboration with his large network of friends among the best international brewmasters. To fully unfold our ambitions, we have chosen to present all of the KISSMEYER beers in a number of distinct portfolios, each with a conceptual idea of it’s own.

'Kissmeyer Beer and Brewing’ is my company, launched in 2010 after I ended my 10 year carreer with Nørrebro Bryghus. Longue description The company spans over three main areas of business - ’Kissmeyer Beer’ is my beer brand offering my own and collaborative beers at home and abroad. ’Kissmeyer Brewing’ is my consultancy business offering services related mainly to the brewing industry. Finally, under the collective name ’Kissmeyer Beer & Brewing’ I offer a wide range of communication services incl. beer tastings and presentations

Amber colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a pleasant mix of sweet malts and a rounded hop bitterness. A good session beer.

Almost black with dark creamy head. Aroma and flavour have a surprising strong level of fresh hop bitterness. It slightly overpowers the roasted malt flavour. Subdued coffee and charcoal in the aftertaste.

can clear pale yellow, smooth white head. aroma is bitter hoppy, slighlty flowery too. mild malt. quite nice flavor, quite citrussy, some bitterness to balance, but mostly citrussy. the citrussy flavor is like extra sour oranges, or half orange half lemon juice.

Thuis uit een flesje. Lichte amberkleur, mooi. Stevig wit schuim. Redelijk hoparoma en ook in de smaak en nasmaak prettige hop. Een heel goede pale ale.

75cl bottle from kvickly in valby.pours light golden with an initially huge head that soon becomes small. Bottle is seriously sturdily waxed, you will need more tools than just a beer opener to get rid of the wax. aroma is exotic fruity and yellow fruity, good bitterness, a good mix in between an exotic fruity ipa and your more sweet flowery fruity belgian ale. great balance. flavor is slightly bretty ish flowery bitter with sweet yellow fruity belgian ale'ish notes. hops are not that agressive and the impression you are left with is ale brewed with belgian yeast, quite aromatic, not crazy hopped at all. Will probably work well with food.
