About
Established in 2010 as WharfeBank Brewery, reportedly brewed at Fox Brewing Company.

They brewed on their own 20BBL plant, located in Poole In Wharfedale, Otley, in April 2010.

The brewery closed in Spring 2015 with production shifting to becoming contract brewed at Hambleton in 2016.

Beers sold under the Firestorm name "are what happens when Brewer Steve plays.".

Cask @ Commercial Inn, Sowerby Bridge. Clear gold with a creamy head. It’s fairly smooth in texture with a light fruity orange, and floral, aroma and taste.

On cask @ the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - dark coffee brown with a nice creamy head. Nose - some chocolate, coffee and dried fruit, probably apricots. Taste - more biscuity, but still plenty of coffee and the cream is still there too. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced finish. Overall - it was on keg and a little colder than I normally would have an ale. It improved as the ale went down and I wonder what the result would’ve been on cask. Good, I think!

Cask @ Commercial Inn, Sowerby Bridge. Black with a creamy off-white head. Has a full coffee-nut aroma and a full coffee flavour.

Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Deep amber with a thick creamy head. Has a sweet aroma which is more balanced in its taste. Fairly crisp.

Cask @ The Commercial Inn, Sowerby Bridge. Brown with an amber glow and a creamy head. More sweet in its nose with a gentler taste. A touch smooth. There’s some berry sweetness throughout.

Keg at The York Tap. Pours clear dark brown, thick bubbly off-white head. Aromas of toffee, biscuits, pine and resin. Taste is light bitter, follow up sweetness. Prickly carbonation. Bitter finish, very drinkable. Nice.
