330 ml can, from the brewery. ABV is 12%. Pitch black colour, large brown head. The aroma is fairly moderate, with the expected notes of roast malts, mild coffee and dark chocolate. The flavour is medium dry, with distinct notes of roast malts, strong coffee and dark bitter chocolate, also distinct bittering hops. Good beer!

330 ml can, from the brewery. ABV is 8.1%. Murky brownish-orange colour, moderate to small off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine, a hint of sweat. The flavour is not too sweet, rather dry actually, with a fairly light body for its ABV. Distinct bittering hops as expected, notes of resin, pine needles and grapefruit.

Aroma og smak av nybrent kaffe, 80%-helsesjokolader, høy og solbærblader. Bitter og knusktørr ettersmak. En god rekvisitt når man trenger å stimulere tanken og troen på de gode ting i livet, f.eks RBHD (Repetitive Beer Hunting Disorder).

0,33 boks fra VP Madla, hjemme en fredagskveld: lett uklar kobbergylden med ok skum. Deilig maltsmak med fint innslag av karamellmalt er kombinert med en kraftig bitterhet preget av grapefrukt og furunål/eukalyptus. Noe besk i avslutningen, og alkoholen varmer magen.

Can. It's a more or less clear one, golden in color, with a finger thick white head. The aroma has a nice crisp maltyness, biscuity and lightly bready, with grassy and piney notes, and a peppery hint. It's more on the fruity side in the mouth, lightly citrusy, with some grass and pine cones, and some bready notes in the back. Medium to full body and a soft carbonation. Semi-dry. Medium length finish. A decent pilsner indeed. 220809
