Description
We, Baz and Graeme, have two things in common above all else. One, we are brothers. More importantly, we love all things beer! Our shared passion evolved into a brewing hobby and together we are now doing our darnedest to turn that hobby into something more.
We have formed The Meanwood Brewery and hope to open a micropub and onsite brewery in our beloved Meanwood, combined into what we are calling a microbrewpub. The whole thing is a mammoth undertaking and we've only just started.
Rather than share a polished product at the end and fight to convince folk to care, we've decided to share everything, warts and all, here with you. When things go well or terribly we're going to put it all out there for you to see. As we learn to be better brewers, research the industry, and turn from amateurs to pros, we want you to experience it all with us.y.

Cask-conditioned at the Swan, York, 24 October 2022. Hazy orange in colour, with a moderately-sized, white, head. Citrus hops, big and ripe tangerine and pineapple fruits, light maltiness, before a sweetish finish. Good.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours an almost murky orange with no head whatsoever, and very little carbonation. The aroma has oranges and a hint of grapefruit. In the mouth it is sweer with mango and hints of orange and nuts. A bit like lucozade with the cabonation ! Weird and pretty yuck – not for me.

Keg at The Sheffield Tap, Sheffield, Yorkshire. A dark brown coloured pour with a thin off white head on top. Fruity, plum aroma and taste. Not getting any vanilla, quite bitter and not overly complex. Titanic do the best plum porter.

Keg @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Brown, with a creamy off-white head. It has sweetened dark malts through a dominant but not overly stated plum.

Keg @ Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Golden with a head. Fuller-tasting, it’s hoppy with a piney tropical fruitiness.
