Cask at the Jolly Farmer, Bramley. Sweet and malty aroma. Black, with a creamy beige head. Medium bitter through to a sweet finish. Light bodied. The finish is chalky and dry. Malts, dark chocolate, gravy and a reminder of the surprisingly bitter sticky toffee pudding I had at the pub.

Cask at RS HW, 28/10/16. Hazed pale yellow with a decent off White head. Nose is melon, straw, critic peel, soft bread. Taste comprises orange zest, lemon peel, grains, bread, pale malts, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation ,semi drying close with a hop tickle. Decent pale.

From cask by gravity on the second day at Plymouth Camra Beer Festival 2016. Black with a brownish shade. Low beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of mildly roasted brown and black malts. Roasted malty flavours with a chocolate touch. Prolonged ending. Decent mild (Shared with Finn 24.09.2016).

Black, bubbly yellow white head, good lacing
Aroma of roasted malts, soft burnt notes, slight smoky
Taste of dark malts, roasted malts, dab of coffee roast, bit of dark fruit, mainly roast, not too burnt
Palate - Medium body, light sweet malt background, some bitter roast. FInish of soft roast
Overall - OK, not too roasty, but I prefer sweeter stouts

On cask at the Bow Bar. Appearance - golden with a nice head. Nose - lemonand grapefruit zest. Creamy too. Taste - tonnes of citrus zest. Creamy again. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - another beautifully executed beer by Great Heck.
