Can from Malt & Vine. Pours dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is med caramel with citrus/floral. Med body, nearly. Flavor is roasty malt with some fruit/floral. Light pitted fruit, but the finish is more bitter and malty. Decent drink.

Can courtesy of Deanso. Poured dark mahogany with a thin round tan head. The aroma is dry and dusty. The flavour is roasted malt with dark chocolate. A tasty mild. I’d like to try this on tap.

Can shared from Deanso. Pours almost black with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and light chocolate. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with soft carbonation. A very nice mild beer.

440 ml can from Binny’s, Plainfield. This is a bin for 50¢, and it’s dated May 04. ’12, so I’ll try to take age into consideration, since I’ve seen this beer before, and besides, I can now tick Merseyside off my UK map. Almost expected a can this size to have a Widget, but no. Foamy pour of a carbonated beer over a brown body. I smelt some over-sweetness when I poured, but once in the glass, could not pick it, or anything, up. Just a "watery" nose of a mild ale. Despite the foamy head, the actual carbonation of the beer is pretty low; not totally cask-like, but striving for it. So I’m left with a deliberately light beer: mild malts with a bit of toast. A slight tone of earthy hops, but mainly there to match the light sweetness of the malts. It’s a testament to canning beers that this light brew is still palatable. Although to the middle I start to catch some phenol. I ’spect this is better enjoyed in a pub than in my cold basement.

From keg at the Dispensary, thanks to Kjell for sharing. Clear golden body, white tophead, fragile lacing. Sweet fruity aroma. Sweet fruity taste of peaches together with grainy malts. Clean fruity ending with scattered hops. Ok lager (Liverpool, 09.04.2013).

Appearance: Amber color with a finger thick white head. Fine lacing.
Aroma: Slightly sweet caramel malty and fruity.
Palate: Medium light body. Slightly sweet and a mild bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Caramel malty, toffee, light hoppy and a fine fruity background.
Overall impression: A bit thin. Otherwise ok.

Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet with a mild bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Caramel malty, light hoppy and light fruity.
Overall impression: Fresh thirst quencher. Typical mild British IPA.

Dark amber reddish brown, clear, frothy slight off white head, good colour, not much lacing
Aroma of caramel malts,some raisin, touch of spicy lager hops, dark fruits, very fruity malty nose, slight metallic note
Taste of dark fruits, raisin, some tangy dark fruits, red berries, sweet light fruit malt, bit metallic, touch of cereal. The cereal metallic notes spoil this beer.
Palate - medium carb and body, oily texture, sweet palate. Finish as main flavour, linger of fruity malts with those cereal metallic notes
Overall - Drinkable, was quite pleasant initially but that cereal metallic note spoiled the beer a bit for me.

A very sweet caramel flavor with floral notes. Reed brown in color with a white head.
