Started as Bochkaryov Brewery in 1999, acquired by Heineken in 2002 and ran as Heineken Russia / United Heineken Breweries. Transferred to United Beverages Holding in 2023 as Heineken left the country.

Pale yellow. Dry, clean with saaz aroma. Some late bitterness. A rather well balanced pilsnerish lager.

Light body; toffee notes; some brown sugar, raisins; thin and spritzy.......

Crisp(ish); decent body. Maybe 25 IBUs. A little bigger than a lager, but a little light and simplistic for a pilsner.

Credit for having a bitter edge, unlike the other (sickly sweet) bottled shandies I've had. That said, it's still not the kind of thing I get excited about, and wasn't all that complex or refreshing or anything like that.

Thinnish, carbonic amber lager. Called Martovskoye in Russian..............

Fresh, slightly doughy. One of the better bottled pale lagers out of Russia.
