On tap pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is pine citrus hops and some grain malts. Taste is more of the nice light hop combo and a grain bread touch.

Taster at Boise Wiinter ALe fest. Amber pour, small off-white head. Rye aroma, grainy, musty, mild sweetness. More beautiful rye flavors in the taste, bready, musty, nice feel. Really nice showcase for rye.

Taster at Boise winter Ale fest. Dark brown pour, foamy head. Aroma is roasty, burnt toast, pumpernickel. Taste is dark, roasty and bitter, mild sweetness. Lovely body, full. Really nice overall roasty bitterness.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Cloudy golden, thin white foamy head. Light gingery aroma, lime tartness. Taste brings in lager flavors, rice texture, with heavier ginger and light lime. Perfect pairing of adjuncts on this.
