473ml can. Pours a clear gold amber with a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Aroma of bready caramel malt and herbal hops. Sweet flavour of toasted bready malt, caramel, black pepper and grass in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with an oily texture and average to soft carbonation. Malt forward and not really a Pilsner, but it's ok.

Poured from 473mL can at Alvin's backyard get together (read: free). Clear blonde gold with small white head. Clean basic lager base with a shot of orange juice / peel. Flavoured pilsner, nothing special.

On tap at Astilleros - North Van. Pours nearly black with a beige head. Dark chocolate, cacao powder, and a touch of orange peel on the nose. Tastes like a chocolate-coated caramelized orange peel. Not super complex, but executed well.

On tap at Astilleros. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Faint belgian yeast and some floral notes on the nose. Flavour has dry Belgian yeast, gentle floral notes, some parsnip. It's not terrible, but the vegetal character is throwing me.

On tap at their North Van location. Pours mostly clear pale gold with a white head. French saison yeast on the nose with some floral and dry grass notes. Flavour has a sweet saison yeast character; floral, grassy, biscuit malts. Not bad, not excellent.

On tap at their North Van location. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Sticky tropical fruit and buttery berries on the nose. I'm not particularly sensitive to diacetyl, but I'd say this is fucked. Lots of chemical bitterness with some notes of berries. Completely coats the palate with that lingering acrid bitterness.

Light orange, some pils, mod bitterness. Ok, simple. The sort of beer you're glad you didn't pay money for.

Plummy colour. Opaque. This has a plummy nose, too. Tart, stone fruit as well. Good balance. Nice complexity - the fruit doesn't express as raspberry but that's not a big deal because it expresses nicely. And the underlying base was and is a good saison.

Opaque, with a thin head. Quite pale. Smells like canned jalapeno, which I would never put in a pico de gallo. Tomatillo in there as well. Good body. The flavours are iffy in concept, but they are balanced. They're just not good things. Don't hate it, though.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 23/07/2025). Clear blonde gold with small white head. Berry-like spruce notes over feint pils malt. Decent spruce tip character with an average base beer. Okay.
