Cloudy pale blond colour, highly carbonated, with large head. It's a bit farty, but not enough funky; a bit lemony. The mouthfeel is smooth; it's more sour than funky, sharp lemon, some metal.

750ml @ Alex's. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: lots of dry hops, some lemony notes, and maybe a bit of Brett. There's some rust acidity as well. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: I am not sure what the purpose of dry-hopping saison is. It makes them to be similar to the simple kettle sours by killing all of the barnyard and rustic notes, which should be present in the proper farmhouse Saison.

On tap at Studio, pours a cloudy yellow with a slight golden tinge and a small white head. Aroma is chaotic, with tons of chalk and hopburn, some dankness — but this is way too green and hopburny on the nose. Flavour is a little less chaotic and abrasive, with dank hops, some grainy notes, and some hopburn. Not as egregious as some hazies out there; not too chalky, but the hopburn makes this harder to forgive. Not great.

On tap at Studio, pours a cloudy bright pink ros� amber with a small white head. Aroma has some butyric in here, along mango, hibiscus and lacto — can't shake that butyric thought. Flavour is better, with juicy mango, lots of tartness, gentle hibiscus, and lots of lacto. Lots of full-bodied fruit and tartness but too yogurty for me.

On tap at Studio, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out crunchy grassiness, some spiciness, bright herbaceousness, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is bright, with spicy grassiness, bright herbaceousness, and crisp crackery malt. Bright, spicy and crisp. Nicely done for the style.

May 11, 2025 (7/3/8/3/15=3.6): Re-rate from bottle. Poured from 750mL bottle (shared with Nova Scotia's CaptainMurphy & fiery1). Hazed blonde gold with full white head. NIce citrusy lime gose note with feint remnants of dry-hopping, hint of sulfur nose as it warms. Not farmhousy, but interestingly nice gose/saison mix.

Golden colour, with slight haze; medium head. The aroma is malty, candied orange too, goat. Lean body, it's not sweet or sticky but the malt takes that direction, which is not very modern, and then converges into some pithy bitterness, with alcohol, and little to say about hop aromatics.
