Hazy amber beer, bubbly cream colour head. Palate is light and has modest carbonation. Smooth light malts, semi dry. Fairly sweet toffee and caramel. Trace of ripe fruits. Sweet floral and caramel finish. Sweet and simplistic barleywine.

Wersja z niebieską etykietką z datą 28.02.17r. Piana beżowa, znika błyskwicznie, nie zostawiając śladu. W aromacie słodka czekolada, suszona śliwka, rodzynki, karmel i trochę wanilii na końcu. Nie jest to zbyt mocny aromat. W smaku przede wszystkim karmelowo-śliwkowe. Nieco czekolady. Wytrawny finisz. Wysycenie średnie. Ciała ciutke za mało. Goryczka chmielowo-alkoholowa na średnim poziomie. Piwo bardzo stylowe, tym niemniej piłem dużo lepsze portery. Kormoran smakuje bardziej.

On tap at Viva la Pinta, shared with Karlo. Very dark brown, tinged somewhat with amber and carrying a creamy off white head. Lovely aroma - creamy, coffee, chocolate, sweetish, not much hoppiness admittedly. The taste, however, is brilliantly creamy, vaguely roasty, with a classic orange/herbal hop mix. If it didn’t get vegetal at certain points, this would be a solid competitor for one of the best Black IPAs I’ve ever tried, but it’s a very, VERY solid attempt nonetheless.

Black body, with a big, dissipating, creamy, coffee-colored head.
Aroma of coffee, toast, liquorice, some dark chocolate, some vegetables.
Tastes of dark melting chocolate, espresso, cocoa, toast, liquorice, some dark fruits, some wood.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes roasty, quite dry, a bit wooden, with coffee, liquorice, some cocoa, slight hops.

Very nice. The nose is not that special, but the taste is very nice, fully aromatic, with diverse roasty notes and the right amount of sweetness. Not among my favourite style examples, but really enjoyable.

0,5l bottle shared with Saeglopur, from trade with lordrakos, big thanks for this one. BB-date seems to have rubbed off. almost black color, rather big coffee-colored head. smells of licorice, earthy, light smoke, spices, light coffee, light nuts, quite nice smell overall. full body, quite strong carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of caramel, licorice, earthy, light smoke, nutty, marzipan, rather creamy, hazelnuts, some chocolate. finishes lightly sweet with nots of smoke, hazelnuts and chocolate. very, very nice beer, just the carbonation is a bit aggressive but overall lovely stuff. great balance.

Draught (Multi Qlti Tap Bar, Krakow) - Golden in colour. Peach, pine and grapefruit in the aroma. Pine, grain and apricot in the taste. Either it is a bit tired or they were not so generous with the hops on this one.
