Cloudy pale yellow with a large white fluffy head. Sweet yeasty aroma with hints of lambic and malty notes. Flavour was dry with notes of gueuze, barnyard, wood, yeast and malt. Finished dry. This combo could be deadly but this one wasn’t. Nice though.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit, and dusty hops as well as hints of acid. The flavor is sweet and acidic with notes of malt and lemon, leading to a dry and tart finish. Interesting.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, ruby amber colour with a big and beige, slowly lacing foamy head. Sweet and slightly yeasty toast-malty aroma with notes of toffee, peanuts, a mildly fruity touch of blackberries and shades of alcohol. Sweet and slightly vinous-acidic flavour, medium to full bodied with a calm carbonation. Toasty malty base with a light but present fruitiness, well-embedded and delicate notes of caramel/toffee; moderately sweet and roasty bitter finish, again with vinous accents. Pretty flavourful and rounded brew. 15.XI.09

[9/7/09] Bottle at Chez Moeder Lambic in Brussels. Slightly hazy golden-orange color with a bit, quickly-diminishing, white head. Spicy, quite yeasty, aroma, with some mango, coconut hints, some other fruits, some sugariness and a bit of brett. Flavor starts sweetish with lots of fresh fruits, some slightly sugary maltiness, some woody notes, a bit of yeast, a bit of spice and subdued tart notes. Dry hoppy finish. Medium-bodied. Pretty tasty and quite refreshing.
