Bottle From Brews Almighty, Everett, WA Hazy light orange with a quick spritzy off-wite head. Dry and tat with a nice real cucumber flavor. Saison notes are subtle and over all very refreshing.

Draft 12 oz pour at the Engine House No. 9 sour fest. Obviously, the name sold me on this one. Pours black with a thin oily tan head. Dark sour fruit, soft bran aroma. Some grape, black cherry, and dark fruit sour. Not picking up a lot of what they say is in it, but an awesome sour flavor overall. Very nice beer.

I spilled half my last beer tragically so had to pop something else. Hazes yellow beer with floaties and white head. Nose is tropical fruits and spice. Tastes of fruity pebbles, yeast, Brett, peppercorn, rye, barley, mango skin, and candy. Semi sweet finish.

Tap - one of the more straightforward and traditional saisons Iโve had from this brewery (although the bitterness is a little high) - dry, crisp, mildly funky, with mild peppery phenolics, some cobweb - sadly, strong bitterness swallows up a lot of the other qualities by the finish, but itโs still decent - also looks fantastic - lively pour with a thick, well-sustained head.

Mekelburgโs, Brooklyn tap: Pours near black with a beige head. Aroma is really interesting, for there is a dank combination of roast, funk, berries, farmhouse, grains, and spice. Taste is a very well balanced combination of the darkness and moderate tartness and funk. Consistency is great. Alcohol is magically covered. Quite good.

Bottle at home as I oddly decided to watch late night ghost story. Light cloudy yellow pour white head. Nose is tropical fruit, white wine, and wood. Tastes of soft Brett, yeast, pineapple, peach skin, herbal, floral, woody, and Chardonnay. Soft palate and fruity finish. This beer got more and pleasant as I drank.

Bottle @ home with LeninCat. Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with a cream colored head. Aroma has a dirty sock / foot odor thing going on. A little lemon and funk but mostly BO. The flavor is better. White wine, pepper, spices, lemon, and lots of funk. Finishes twangy. Maybe a hint of lactic acid. Not something Iโd buy again.
