Bottle: pours hazyish gold with quickly dissipating head. Aroma is earthy, funky, yeasty. Taste is earthy, funky, weird finish. Too old methinks.

Bottle, at share, thanks to me, courtesy of chinhaez. Pours gold. Olive, earthy, papaya, cherry, strong funk. Medium body. Interesting.

Short pour at the brewery. Pour a clear, golden color, with a small, foamy, white head. The aroma is papaya, spruce, lavender, and caramel. Sweet and malty, with a sticky, dank bitterness. Crisp, clingy, and thin. Reasonable, clean IPA.

On tap at the brewery. Pour a clear, bronze color, with a medium, foamy, beige head. The aroma is wet grass, cane sugar, cardamom, and toast. Sweet and malty, with a mellow bitterness. A bit thin, but not bad.

Taster at Beasts & Brews. Pours a clear, golden color, with a big, foamy, white head. The aroma is dust, apple juice, pecan, thyme, and dried grass. Sweet and sugary, with a mild, tart finish. Light and crisp. Solid.

Bottle picked up at Premier Gourmet in Amherst, and recommended by their staff. Hard pour as suggested on the bottle put up a furious stack of tan head, but it reduces quickly enough. Opaque brown with a rich and strong sweet malty nose of plums and dried fruit. The taste is exceptional. Deep rich malts full of plum, cider, dried fruit. A mild touch of booze, solid brown sugar, with a mild touch of bitterness that lingers. Really nice.

Bottled. Blackish pour with a medium tan head that slowly recedes. The aroma is strong with bourbon, dark fruits, and chocolates. The taste, like the aroma, has some bourbon character, chocolates, cocoa and a slightly sour note. The palate is full and viscous with lively carbonation. Finishes long and semi-sour. Overall: decent brew. Paired well with some smoked gouda.

Bottle. Gold pour with a small white head that soon fades to a fine ring. The aroma is medicinal with chemical notes I can't well describe. The taste is an odd concoction of herbs and grains. The palate is medium in viscosity. Finishes with lingering mild acidity. Overall: If you want 'different' this is your baby.
