bottle shared by beerlando...thanks! Pours hazy gold with a thin white ring of head. Aroma is sour peach, vinegar, and light ammonia. This tasted very watered down, or maybe just a mellow sour? Smarties candies and again peach and apple skin with light funk.

12oz bottle courtesy of someone at the tasting pouring up copper with light tan head. The aroma is a bowl full of buttered popcorn with lemon like citrus hop bitterness, some sweet maltiness and a tad of caramel. The taste is similar with a very healthy dose of grapefruit and tangelo citrus hop bitterness to go along with pulses of buttery popcorn coming to the surface from time to time. The hops are pervasive and bitter enough that I really don’t mind the diacetyl. Lots of hops in this one.

Sampled from the bottle at the 2010 Metro March Detroit tasting. Poured a brownish red with a small off-white head. Aroma was very sour, almost a vinegar that burnt the nose. Flavor was very sour with a balsamic vinegar note and was very overwhelming.

Bottle (marked as #107-10) via a trade with jbye4334. Pours with a tan head and a hazy brown body. Aroma of raisins, alcohol, wood, and dark fruits. Taste is malty with dark fruits and grain. Doesn’t taste all that strong to be real honest. Light bubbles.

Bottle, shared with JoeMcPhee - pours a nearly still dark amber - vinegar hits the nose first, but despite the strong sourness and acidity, there are a lot of complexities lurking underneath - some sweaty notes, cherry, subtle oak, light cheese, some spice - intense sourness in the flavor, with a lot of vinegar character (both red wine and apple cider) - it takes a while to detect anything other than this - however, once it settles in, some sweet cherry flavors, very mild oak - there is some more happening back there, but the acidity and sourness make them hard to detect - some light funk on the back end - intense - perhaps too much so, but I like it.

22 oz bottle courtesy of alagnak. Bottle number 247-9 hand sharpied on the bottle. Pour is fully hazed yellow golden with a smallish white head. Aroma of big Brett initially, as that opens follows with some dry earthy flinty mineral. Hint of sour, though mostly about the dry Brett vinegar acetic nature. Taste is the drying Brett right away, followed by the dry mineral floral barnyard. Dry, floral, a bit rotten vegetable - interesting, but not terribly deep or complex. Palate is medium to thin, dry as mentioned - just bone dry, even a little chalky. Nice one, thanks for sending this my way Chris.

Goblet at the brewpub - I found this incredibly light and refreshing for its supposed ABV - in fact, I would not be surprised if it were not this strong at all - my guess is 9% at the most - semi-tart, earth nose, with some roasted grains, cocoa, light fruitiness, yeast - flavor of bitter herbs - fairly dry, with a somewhat chalky texture through the middle - wildflowers, more dried herbs - a bit of tart/tangy character - some dry cocoa and a subtle sweetness before a warm, spicy finish - quite good.
