Bottle. Pours hazy golden with a small white head, decent residual and lacing. Aroma is grassy, pepper, coriander and Belgian spice. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, field grass, corriander, Belgian spice. Not a lot of Brett for me. Light body. Kind of a standard traditional saison.

On tap at The Cooler. It pours a dark brown color with a large light brown head. The aroma has big notes of chocolate, fudge and coffee. Super chocolaty and rich smelling. The flavor has some dark fruity fig notes, lots of tobacco and chocolate. The alcohol is a little strong in the finish, but not what I would call hot. A little ashy. Full bodied. Good.

Draught at Whole Foods Redwood City. Hooray for the tap room. This beer is awesome! So many layers of chocolate, dark fruit, vanilla. The best I have had from this Brewer.

Gold Waxed Bottle. Pours opaque black, medium dark tan creamy head, dissipates slowly, really nice residual and lacing. Now i wish I didn’t give so many "5"s for appearance, cause this one really deserves it. Aroma is bourbon, molasses, cocoa. Flavor is light sweet, medium bitter, bourbon, cocoa, molasses again. Lingering bitterness. Fullish body, creamy mouthfeel. Solid effort, but not among the elite.
