Pour outta the can is a dark orange with a fizzy white head. Aroma is lots of pine and grapefruit. Flavor is fresh hops with a stong malty sweetness. Finsh leaves a hop resin with a little bitterness. This was a very nice suprise. The best thing this brewer puts out by far.

Sample at O-town throwdown ’09 Pours dark brown. Aroma is loaded with bourbon and oak wood Taste, good notes of wood barrel bourbon, and surprisingly sour for a scotch ale. In the mix there are light hints of fruits and sweet sugar.

Courtesy of jdubFL. Pours deep gold with thin white head. The mild aroma is mixed with malts, a sense of citrus and wet hair. Hmmm. The taste is as interesting as the nose with an initial pulse of pine and citrus hops then moving toward odd malty notes that seem earthy, lightly roasty, tea and crystal malts. A decent level of hops keeps their presence from front to back. I guess it is the odd earthiness and the way it plays with the other notes that is making the experience unique.

can - This beer pours copper with a one finger white head. It has a mild aroma of caramel malt with a touch of hops. The sweet malt in the flavor is backed by some light hop bitterness though it could use a little more. It’s alright though.
