The Buechel OGs raid the GABF 2023: Poured a coppery golden with a white colored head. Aroma is pungent apricot. Taste is tangy apricot, grain, little waxy.

Can from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. Amber with a medium head. Malt, caramel, light fruit and some hops. Not that bitter.

Can - labeled as 13% abv - aged in Buffalo Trace barrels - clear amber - headless but fizzy - decent rendition of traditional barleywine caramelized sugars, treacle, dark fruit - moderate coconut and vanilla oakiness from the barrel - finishing warm and lightly boozy, with the bourbon coming to the fore in a warming finish - enjoyable, but not terribly complex.

Clear nutty pour and a fine head Decent intensity in the aroma Ok balanced sweetness and bitterness Toffee, fruity and herbal flavor [Can from Systembolaget in Strömstad, Sweden] Brewery #2479
