Description
Sori Brewing is located in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn. Backed by crowdfunding investors, Sori Brewing is on a mission to make the world more fun with better craft beer. Started by two Finns who moved away from their home country to brew without compromises. Not far, but far enough to make it count. Together with an amazing team, these guys are dedicated to bring you joy in a form of craft beer.
Currently brewing around 3000 hl a year and running a barrel program with almost 200 barrels. We enjoy brewing a wide range of beers, from barrel-aged big beers to refreshing sours and super hoppy IPA’s.

The ninth of twenty-one beers for our 11th wedding anniversary. Išmar's. Six years aged. Slightly cloudy, red to black colored. AROMA- aged in wood character, roasted, prunes, black berries, fermented blueberries, pleasant alcohol, povidla (plum jam). FLAVOR- smooth, quite sweet, slightly sour, lightly bitter, warming, plum, whiskey. Fuller to full bodied. Interesting and nice black barley wine.

Can (from Kabacka, Seinäjoki). Hazy yellow colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is floral, fruity, nectary and some mild herbal tones with some slight toasted and herbal tones. Flavour is fruity, some floral, some mild citrusy tones with some mild earthy tones. Long and quite strong bitterness to it. Surprisingly asskicking. Or then the hopping just struck the right nerves.

Can 440ml (KCM Puuvilla, BB 09/2024)
Hazy yellow colour, small steady white head and lace. Light grapefruit in the nose. Light-bodied. Some fruityness and citrus, a bit musty. Dryish, tartness lurking around the corner. Neh.

Bottle. Color: Very dark ruby, almost black, thin light brown head. Aroma: Toffee fudge marshmellow and some roasted malt. Taste: Toffee fudge, spicy rye notes, hints of peanuts and coffee, some roasted malt, marshmellow and milk chocolate. Some hoppy bitterness at the dry-ish finish. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Over medium to full body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Ok, but I expected more from this collab.
