16oz glass at Bushel and Barrel in Tysons Corner, pours a hazy gold with some creamy, white head. Nice nose, yeast, malt, dough, some lemon, some straw. Flavor follows, very true to style, grist, light honey, lemon, straw, dough. Crisp finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle from Kroger (Barracks). Pours light golden with a small white head. Aroma of lemongrass and corn. Flavor is lemongrass, corn (yuck), mint without the mint (hard to explain - it’s the flavor of mint before the mintiness hits). Overall yuck. This is fritos dropped in water, filtered out, carbonated, and then bottled.

Bottle share on 11 June courtesy of ???. Another nice dark beer, going down smoothly and cleanly. Coconut adding the right amount of flavor to the already stellar stout. Slick and oily, hints of vanilla also in this big beer.
