Thanks John for sharing the bottle! Poured into a taster showing black center with coffee black rims. The nose shows notes of caramel and sweet malts. The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated with a strong alcoholic spiciness. Flavors of moderately intense caramel and sweet malts with a strong espresso bitterness on the finish.

750ml bottle thanks to Steve. Pours out black topped with a small tan head. Nose is big peppermint paddy roast malts milk chocolate bourbon barrel vanilla and did I mention the peppermint. Normally not a fan of peppermint stouts and I wasn’t on this one at first then it started to grow on me. I think the heavy milk chocolate cuts the peppermint. Pretty good overall.
