Very clear and crisp copper and blonde coloured body with a thinnish, pure white head, about two centimetres tall that fades quickly and leaves a thin layer on top. Aroma of apple, tons of caramelised sugars, a dash of toffee and a noticeable amount of malt and some bread here as well - quite strong in the nose and very pie-y. Medium-bodied; Strong rich apple and malt flavours dominate with some graham cracker and slightly nutty notes, but the sugars and a lot of grain come through at the end that bring out a bit more of the rich qualities, especially with the alcohol and a bit more pungency at the end. Aftertaste shows the apples of course and a lot of the toffee with a nice bready and slightly grainy malt characteristic with some alcohol of course, but more of the sugars, including the apple than anything else, but some elegant allspice and canella at the end as well. Overall, a very nice beer that has an elegant fruitiness from the apples, but the malt, sugars and light spicey characteristics are great throughout here. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 02-November-2020 for US$2,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 21-February-2022.

Deep and fairly rich brown coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white and deep tan head that fades pretty quickly and just leaves a very thin lace on top that fades as well. Aroma of alcohol, molasses, pitted fruit, figs, rich earth, nuts and a good deal of squash and rich malts, with a tiny bit of nuttiness, but nothing too pungent - the others, especially the caramelised sugars are far stronger in the nose. Medium to Full-bodied; Very nutty flavours show up at first (that's where they are) with a big earthy and rustic quality with some dry and grainy notes, but the pecans really show up at first with some moderate sweetness near the end, especially from the pitted fruits, but also from the caramelised sugars with some bitterness at the end from some very mild spice notes. Aftertaste is rich, robust and very sugar-centric with the pitted fruits, caramelised sugars and molasses all coming out at first with only a bit of earthiness and a good deal of the nuts finishing things off nicely and complex. Overall, a very rich, sweet, pungent and flavour-forward beer that has the nuts, earth, grain and especially sugars come out in force with some mellow spice and dryness towards the end, but the flavours are packed in here, in a great way! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Wegman's [grocery] in Alexandria, Virginia on 05-December-2020 for US$1,99 (Part of a mixed six pack), canned on 22-November-2020 and sampled a bit more than a year later, at my house here in Washington on 18-January-2022.

Roast and some nut. A little vanilla. Brown pour with ok head and lacing. Definitely some milk here. Bittersweet finish. Tap at World of Beer - the only one of their whole taplist I hadn't had except for Michelob light, and we ain't going there tonight.
