0.33l can at the Kuala Lumpur-Istanbul Turkish Airlines flight. Thought it would be a rerate, but I guess the 100% malt version IS a bit different, though who knows who's gonna split that properly. Anyway, Mediterranean Slow Brew, I see what they did there. Pale golden body, thick white head. Dry, dusty, bit floral and herbal aroma. Smooth malty taste, lightly floral, vaguely herbal, bitterish touches. Decent macro lager by all means, clean, and I think I got it in a decent shape.

500ml can pours out pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is sweet grain malts some grass. Taste is more of the sweet malts grain some grass and corn.

Bottle drunk at Hidden Garden in Istanbul. I am very hungry, for the record. Hazy brownish amber with very small head, grainy nose, grainy barely-hopped flavor about like Ichnusa unfiltered if I remember it right. I'm thinking of adding a dill covered lemon from three appetizer plate to spice it up. Yep there it is. Rating: pre dilllemon.

Large glass at Mar Kebab House in Istanbul. Not Constantinople. Light yellow, small head. Malty grain nose and taste. Mild hops, a bit sweet, it's your standard Asian-leaning light lager, easy to drink fast but not too exciting. Why did Constantinople get the works? That's nobody's business but the Turks.

Canned 500ml. -from local Konzum. Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, corn and light grain in the nose. Corn, grain, light dust and cardboard with short dry bitterish finish.

Bottle from Home Bargains, Bridge of Don. Served pretty cold. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is quite sweet, sugary, cheap white bread, supermarket own - brand biscuits, some toasty grains and spice. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, bitter - sweet, fairly hearty malt base, white bread, biscuit, grain, grassy, spicy hops and some sweetness. Finish is toasty grains. Average body and moderate+ carbonation. I've had a lot worse. Served chilled it drinks fine.
