On Tap at Homestead, Meridian. Clear golden yellow witha lasting soapy white ehad and lacing. Looks like a PBR Standard light cereal malts witha hint of some actual hops. A step in the right direction.

24 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 2/5/2018. Pours fairly crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. Pretty fruity aromas, but not too overwhelming. Okay aromas with pale malt/corn and light earthy hop notes, with solid strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.75%. Overall this is a nice pale adjunct lager. All around nice robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful, never watery for the ABV, and not overdone on adjuncts. Clean pale malt/grains and decent earthy hop presence/balance. A nicely enjoyable offering, and great style example. One of the best macros AALs I have had so far.

Pounder: Grass and orange peel nose. Clear amber, thick head, good lace. Grainy, hint of grass, a little vegetal. Fusel alcohol on the back end. Light body, easy carbonation. Nice try, but no.

Can. Orange, biscuit malt, light pine, and orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with large off-white head. Moderately sweet orange, creamy biscuit malt, and mildly bitter orange peel/pine flavor. Okay body. Not bad - a decent effort.

Can dated, I believe February 5th. 0836 is part of the second set of numbers.

Pours a crystal clear pale gold with an impressive and long lasting head of foam. Lacing isn't lacking.

The smell is light. Grainy, light grass, nothing more that I can discern.

Taste is more assertive. Grainy but not corny or sweet, bitter in a mostly non descript way; if pressed, I'd say grassy. Not balanced in any way but I find it surprisingly drinkable.

Mouthfeel is good. Good APA overall. Still, I would much rather have Old Tankard at my beck and call.

Aromas of grapefruit, orange, lemon, peach, pear, melon, red apple, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, white bread dough, light honey/toast, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, orange, lemon, peach, pear, melon, red apple, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, white bread dough, light honey/toast, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Lingering notes of grapefruit, orange, lemon, peach, pear, melon, red apple, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly clean finishing. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a delicious American pale ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Very classic tasting APA with Cascade/Liberty hops. Nicely juicy balanced citrus/earthy hop complexity, with a nice bready malt backbone. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
