Appearance: Near to clear pale gold with a small head. Aroma and taste: Fermented apples, vinous notes. Medium dry. Light sour. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, average to lively carbonation. Overall: OK.

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear red with a lacing, off-white head. Aroma of blackcurrant. Medium body, lightly sweet berry accents with little apple cider notes coming through. Very vague tartness but quite fizzy. Luckily the sweetness is quite moderate making it quite drinkable. 121024

Can 50 cl. Comes as: Cooper's Cider Dry Hopped. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a short, fizzy, white head. Discreet apple aroma, no trace of any dryhopping. Medium body, rather sweet apple notes with a faint tartness. Again, no traces of any hops. 190924

Etwas Apfelessig und süßer Apfelsaft in der Nase. Geschmacklich nicht komplett anders. Außerdem ein guter Schuss zuckerfreie Zitronenlimonade. Eine milde herbe Note schwingt im Hintergrund leicht mit, die ich nicht ganz einordnen kann. Insgesamt haut mich nicht um. Da hat die Kelterei Heil (anders als der englische Name Cooper’s vermuten läss,t ist das ein urdeutsches Gebräu) wesentlich besseres im Programm.

0.33 l can from 'REWE' (Wyk auf Föhr). Clear, ruby with a few white bubbles on top of it. Sweetish, a bit sourish, rather fruity aroma of blackcurrant, blackberry, ripe apple and some elderflower. Rather sweet, a bit sourish, very fruity taste of ripe apple, blackcurrant, blackberry and some elderberry, followed by a short, slightly tart, a bit dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite nice actually, fairly refreshing, not artificial at all.
