Bottle - Banana and sweet yeast. Clear gold no head. Wheat and slight banana. Mellow and easy drinking. Pretty unexceptional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A murky TIPA with a thin white head. In aroma, a nice floral hopped up exemple with piney and resinous hops, and a clover field. In mouth, a nice balanced dipa with resinous hops, with tingly chili like feeling, biscuit malt, quite nice.

This is a lot of what I like about a double IPA. Smells like apples, or some other sweet fruit I can’t identify. Pours murky orange with decent lacing and not much head. Well-balanced, especially with the hops. Soft carbonation. Sweetness and bitterness in finish. Tap at Session.

I gotta admit I’m a sucker for large wine-style beer bottles with high alcohol percentages printed on the side. Gotta get these in before I head back up to the dry north, it’s always binge and purge when you’re up there I tells ya. This is also a 2013 vintage if’n indeed that matters. This pours with a nice foggy orange body with no bubbling, and a solid yellow-white head. Very appealing so far! The aroma is barnyard funk and orange peels with just a hint of sugariness. The flavour is like a belgian strong ale infused with grass, a good mix of the heavy stuff with some earthy notes. A little cloying and sweet on the palate however. This is an interesting and eclectic beer, hints of North American ingredients in what seems to be a Belgian style ale. It’s highly drinkable nonetheless.

Bottle - Grapefruit, orange and sweet malts. Clear copper with a thin white head. Sweet and a subtle pine, with a ton of pine and bitterness. The fish is all bitter and something is making my teeth squeak. Not a fan.

Keg at west 50, Missisugua, Ontario, 3rd May 2013. Half pint with brother on law, who sank a full pint. This is tasty, good beer, slightly sweet for my taste, and unusually I would have preferred slightly more carbonation

Keg at BeerTown, Waterloo, 29th April 2013. Nice IPA, good balance, not the most hoppy, but an easy drinking beer

Keg at Kick Off, Waterloo, Ontario, 28th April 2013. This is a quite a tasty beer, definitely some Belgian yeast notes to this, a little citrus. Too fizzy for more palate, OK

Bouteille 355ml.
